Her er noen bilder fra Bräkneån utenfor Tingsryd tatt seinhøsten 2011. I området finnes rester etter et av Smålands mange jernbruk, Stenfors bruk fra 1680.

the fall of 2011.
The images
are intentionally made more diffuse in order to carry out the kind of storybook
morning mood.
The ruins of Stenfors Iron mill is situated at the outled of lake Tiken and was founded at the end of 17th century.
There was a hammer mill making bars of iron and a blacksmith workshop making nails och farming tools.
A flour mill was already situated down stream since the 16th century and a saw mill was founded in the 18th century.
The raw material iron ware taken from the nearby blast furnaces in Ekefors (Väckelsång) and Örmo (konga).
The iron from Stensfors mill where transported to the city of Karlshamn and from there distributed to parts of south Sweden and abroad. The iron was at this time one of Swedens most exported products.
